Course Brief

A monthly social club dedicated to all things gardening.

Enjoy guest speakers, outings to various gardens, exchange plants or seeds and chat with fellow gardeners over afternoon tea. Beginners to experienced green thumbs welcome.

These meetings are held at the Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre, unless otherwise specified in the Garden Club Newsletter.

Tea and coffee facilities are provided.

Term 3, 2026 Meetings & Events

August 18 - Talk on Tomatoes with Penny Woodward
Time: 1pm - 3pm
Author and horticulturalist Penny Woodward will share some of her extensive knowledge and provide insightful tips on growing tomatoes.

September 13 - Sharpen up for Spring
Time: 9am - 12pm
CS Mobile sharpeners will be at Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre, to sharpen all your tools and knives! Enjoy a coffee and swap some produce while you wait!

September 15 - Active Aging through Gardening
Time: 1pm - 3pm
Join us for an insightful presentation hosted by Sustainable Gardening Australia and discover the many benefits of gardening as we age.
