We love to meet new people
Canterbury Community Precinct
Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre is part of the new Canterbury Community Precinct, in the heart of Canterbury Gardens.
The Precinct brings together a range of organisations and services that support and enrich the local community. These include:
Canterbury Community Garden
Canterbury Community Garden offers local residents a place to come together to grow fresh food, to learn, to share and make friends. Our garden is a special part of the Community Precinct, managed by Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre. The aim of the garden is to promote healthy and sustainable living and to create a vibrant shared space for everyone to enjoy.
The Garden includes individual plots allocated to residents as well as shared communal plots used for workshops and activities. Priority is given to applicants who live in Canterbury.
Individual plots are made available for Canterbury residents who do not otherwise have an opportunity to grow their own produce. For more information about the Garden and to join our waitlist, contact us.
