Membership assists with the day-to-day running costs and is essential to supporting a vibrant community.
Annual membership is only $15 and offers a wide range of benefits.
Membership is renewed upon your first enrolment of the year or in January (whichever comes first)

Whether you have a little time or a lot, your skills and energy can make a real difference in our community.
We’re currently looking for volunteers to join us in these roles:
Chatty Cafe Facilitators ( Wednesdays and Fridays) - Love a good conversation? Help create a welcoming space where people can drop in, have a cuppa, and enjoy friendly chats with new friends.
Class Facilitators & Skill Sharers - Do you have a skill, passion, or hobby you'd love to share? Whether it's art, languages, technology, or something unique, we’d love to hear your ideas!
Fundraising Support & Grant Writing - Help us develop creative fundraising initiatives to support our programs and services. If you have experience in fundraising, event planning or grant writing, we'd love your help!
Policy & Procedure Writing - Have experience in governance, compliance, or writing policies? We’re looking for someone to help refine and update our policies to ensure CNC operates smoothly and effectively.
Board Member - Help guide the strategic direction of CNC and contribute to the growth and sustainability of our community programs. A great opportunity for those with leadership, governance, or community experience.
3126 Magazine
3126 Magazine is our community’s very own (quarterly) publication, sharing local stories, news, and events with residents and businesses. We’re always on the lookout for passionate volunteers to help bring it to life!
Your involvement can be a few hours each issue, 4 times a year or write an article or help in many other ways.
Writers & Contributors - Do you love telling a good story? whether you enjoy writing articles, interviewing locals, or sharing insights on community topics, we'd love your voice in 3126 Magazine. Any age from kids to adults can contribute!
Publication & Support - Help behind the scenes with editing, proofing and organisation.
Walkers - Help us spread the word by delivering our magazine to local homes and businesses. A great way to get some fresh air and keep our community connected!

Community groups are social gatherings around shared interests. Make new friends, learn a new hobby or just meet up.

Teach a class
We are always on the search for new tutors to share their expertise with our community.
Register your interest teaching at our Centre. Tell us about what you are interested in teaching, your availability and we can plan a program together.
Joining our tutor register is free and we can help you find an audience for your class.

Great ideas come from our community. Let us know what you want to learn or suggest a new activity or social group that you want to see at Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre.
