Become a member
Membership is one of the best ways you can support the development of Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre and ensure access for everyone.
Membership assists with the day-to-day running costs and is essential to supporting a vibrant community.
Annual membership is only $15 and offers a wide range of benefits.
Membership is renewed upon your first enrolment of the year or in January (whichever comes first)
Get Involved as a volunteer
Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre thrives because of our incredible volunteers!
Whether you have a little time or a lot, your skills and energy can make a real difference in our community.
We’re currently looking for volunteers to join us in these roles:
Class Facilitators & Skill Sharers - Do you have a skill, passion, or hobby you'd love to share? Whether it's art, languages, technology, or something unique, we’d love to hear your ideas!
Board Member - Help guide the strategic direction of CNC and contribute to the growth and sustainability of our community programs. A great opportunity for those with leadership, governance, or community experience.
Volunteering at CNC is a great way to meet new people, give back to the community, and be part of something meaningful. If you're interested, get in touch—we’d love to welcome you!
Join a community group
Community groups are social gatherings around shared interests. Make new friends, learn a new hobby or just meet up.
Current social groups are available via the button below or contact us to suggest a new community group or social activity.
Teach a class
We are always on the search for new tutors to share their expertise with our community.
Register your interest teaching at our Centre. Tell us about what you are interested in teaching, your availability and we can plan a program together.
Joining our tutor register is free and we can help you find an audience for your class.
Suggest an activity
Great ideas come from our community. Let us know what you want to learn or suggest a new activity or social group that you want to see at Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre.
