Course Brief

Playgroup provides a special environment for early learning, guided activities and making friends.

Enjoy weekly arts and crafts, activities, story time and music, led by Janina, our Early Childhood Educator.

Playgroup offers a range of benefits including:

  • Supporting children developing social skills at their own pace

  • Encouraging physical activity

  • Learning through role-play

  • Building children’s confidence

  • Supporting imagination and creativity

Children are accompanied by a parent, grandparent or carer and siblings welcome.

For families new to the area, joining a local playgroup is an ideal way to get to know other families and make new friends.

What you will learn

Children play and learn new skills through art, music, games, stories, construction in a safe and welcoming environment. 

What to bring

Please bring a snack for your child and a water bottle.

Meet your tutor

Janina Sienkiewicz

Janina is a highly experienced, qualified childhood educator who joined CNC in 2020. She obtained her Diploma of Kindergarten Teaching in Poland before moving to Australia where she has continued to work in her profession for over 30 years. Janina finds it easy to communicate with young children and takes every effort to make them feel safe and happy. She is looking forward to meeting new children and their parents.
