The Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre Garden Club are delighted to present Jane Edmanson OAM, horticulturist, writer and former presenter on ABC TV's Gardening Australia.

Join us for an informal chat about Jane's life in horticulture followed by afternoon tea.

Meet Jane Edmanson OAM

Jane Edmanson OAM is an Australian horticulturist, author, and long‑time media presenter best known for her role on ABC TV’s Gardening Australia, where she appeared from its launch in 1990 until retiring in 2025.

She began her career in the Victorian Schools Nursery, progressing to Deputy Director, and later worked across the plant nursery industry, including co‑owning a retail nursery in Preston.

Edmanson has written extensively on gardening, led local and international tours, and served in key horticultural organisations. Her media work includes presenting on Sow What, Good Morning Australia, and nearly three decades of gardening talkback radio on several Victorian stations.
