Course Brief

Take a step back in time and join this special guided walking tour of Canterbury with local guide Isabel Simpson.

Tour starts from Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre and runs for approximately 1.5 hours.

Morning Tour will return to Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre for a light morning tea

Afternoon tour will conclude with a visit to the Surrey Hills and Canterbury Historical Societies Wedding Exhibition at the Maling Heritage Centre ($5 for non CNC Members) and light refreshments.

Meet your tour guide

Isabel Simpson

Isabel has been a professional ‘walking’ tour guide for twelve years. She is an avid researchist who delights in interpreting the social history of Melbourne.

She has designed and led 45 walking tours both within the city, and the inner and outer suburbs these include for the Annual Heritage Festival and Seniors Festivals.
