With poetic language, fascia-inspired imagery, and props, Mahes guides participants through a practice that is both ancient and radically fresh.
Designed for midlife women and stressed souls of every season and reason, these classes blends anatomy, breath, deep spiritual aspect of mindfulness: "bare attention," "recollection," "awareness," "devotion," "presence,” “contemplation, movement and meaning. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or a curious beginner, you’ll find sequences, affirmations, breath techniques and visual anchors that meet you where you are — and gently carry you home to yourself.
Yin yoga is another branch of the ever-growing tree of yoga styles. Performed at a leisurely pace, it is a slow practice, its definition lies in a practice that targets the connective tissues of the body, such as the facia, ligaments, joints and bones.
